This event was co-hosted by Sogeti (incorporating Insight) and Microsoft in central Dublin on Tuesday, 3 February. This successful event was themed ‘Success stories in software development productivity' and was particularly suitable for managers and senior IT professionals who have responsibility for developing and deploying software solutions.
IT solutions that deliver real business value are vital in the current economic climate. This puts the twin objectives of reducing costs and time-to-deployment of software solutions into sharp focus. As a result, the productivity of solution development teams is paramount.
Participants benfited from the experience of practitioners from the private sector (AIB) and from the public sector (An Garda Síochána). The speakers discussed the business issues addressed and benefits achieved through the adoption of next generation software development productivity tools in particular Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
This event concluded with an interactive discussion which provided an opportunity to discuss the points raised with the panel and with other members of the audience.
