Front of House Receptionist

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Office Administrator for our new Dublin office. The successful candidate will play a significant role in the day-to-day running of our Dublin office with primary responsibility for the smooth operation of Reception.

The successful candidate will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills and will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude. 

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day running of Reception
  • Operating a main office phone line; answering general queries from incoming callers/visitors and directing calls
  • Attendance at the main reception area of the Company; meeting and greeting clients and other visitors, coordinating hospitality arrangements as required including catering, car parking, organisation of conference facilities etc.
  • Organising global travel for relevant staff and external contractors as required
  • Logging service calls for office maintenance contractors
  • Maintenance of all reception logs and schedules
  • Upkeep of schedules for meeting rooms
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and ordering taxis and couriers
  • Maintenance of security card system, ID cards
  • Monitoring stock levels, ordering stationery and other office supplies, coordinating with group facility representative
  • Assisting with event management on an adhoc basis
  • Assisting with CEO’s diary management on an adhoc basis
  • Other adhoc administrative work as required, eg printing, assisting support functions were necessary

Qualifications and skills

  • 2 years’ experience working in a busy office environment
  • Previous reception / office administration work experience is desirable

  • Exceptional front-of-house skills and presentation
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Fluency in English is essential (both oral and written)
  • A professional and enthusiastic attitude and friendly disposition
  • An ability to work on own initiative and to take ownership of the role
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential
