Sogeti migrates 900 mailboxes to IBM Domino for AMCOR

Background

The client wanted a partner to help in the migration of 900 mailboxes from Exchange to IBM Domino including messages, agenda and archives. The migration will be cover offices in Asia, USA, headquarters in Australia and VIPs of the Group.

Solution

Sogeti proposed to design, build and run the migration solution based on Binary tree. The delivery team was based in our nearshore service center in MOROCCO led by a project officer based in Bordeaux.

Benefits

The team succeeded in migrating the mailboxes of all the users daily without any service interruption for them. The work was carried out in such a way that it was night for the end users to enable smooth migration. All the mailboxes were migrated without any loss of data. The team also put in place a global securized architecture to do the project and afterwards to run the mailboxes on IBM domino servers
