New information press service helps the government of Luxembourg to save time and money

Background

The client requires scanning national and international press and information documents for disseminating this information to the Ministers and key players of the government. The client was looking for a partner to develop a press review search portal and a RSS feed reader that allows specifying and screening the information.

Solution

Sogeti was chosen for development of a press review search portal. This solution indexes all the articles selected by the press review team every day and provides an efficient user interface to the readers. To achieve this goal, Sogeti chose SharePoint 2013 with Enterprise Search to perform Functional and technical analysis, SharePoint solution development, Migration of existing content and SharePoint platform installation & configuration. Sogeti was also in charge of developing a RSS feed reader. This reader allows a moderator to select, review, and export on an internet portal, the articles provided by a partner.
