Easy access to specific pages thanks to optimized site structure on new responsive website

Sogeti creates a new responsive website for Stångåstaden AB.

Background

As part of its digital strategy, Stångåstaden conducted a preliminary study of their website and mapped their digital channels. They discovered that the existing external website needed to be rebuilt to make information easily accessible to customers. The website needed to be fully functional and available to all devices via computer, tablet and smart phone. This would enable Stångåstaden to offer better customer service and better accessibility to their existing customers.

Solution

The new website, developed by Sogeti on SharePoint 2013, took care of all client expectations collected and compiled at the beginning of the project. Project development followed the SCRUM methodology, where the planning, analysis of requirements, development, testing, delivery and final sprint demonstration was conducted at three-week intervals. Altogether six sprints were performed . This gave customers opportunity to quickly get and give feedback on work progress, manage changes and continually give suggestions on the site. All solutions are integrated with Stångåstaden property systems. The design was developed by a local advertising agency and Sogeti's task was to interpret the design sense while applying our knowledge of responsiveness, ease of use and accessibility.

Benefits

The new site is highly appreciated by visitors. Using the quick links on the home page Stångåstaden users can quickly navigate to the pages that are most frequently used. The information structure makes it easier for the most frequent users to find what they are looking for. New features include targeted area news, opportunities for e-signing of termination, ‘My pages’ which finds tenants all possible information about their rental items, a new section that works as an e-business to renters, etc.
