The rise of Digital Disruption, demonstrated through companies like AirBnB and Uber mean organisations are increasingly required to react to their challenges quicker, cheaper and more effectively.

The evening was jointly hosted by James Govan - CEO Sogeti Ireland - and Kieran McDonnell - Group Partner and Solutions Manager Microsoft.
Ton Eusterbrock - Sogeti Enterprise Architect - presented the Sogeti Cloud Vision & Strategy and discussed customer success stories such as Post NL and Ecofys. Mike Constable - Business Development for Cloud Services Capgemini UK - gave an overview of the Capgemini & Sogeti end-to-end Cloud offering; Cloud Choice and Tony Salmon - Microsoft Partner Technology Specialist - discussed the momentum building around Microsoft Azure technology and its multitude of benefits.

The night was brought to a close with all speakers sitting on a Q&A panel fiedling questions from the audience. A question that sparked a detailed debate was 'When does Cloud not Make sense?' Tony Salmon said that there are occasions when particular worksloads would not be suitable for Cloud migration but that there is a place for Cloud in every organisation.
