New app develops interaction between organizers, partners and consumers
Sogeti builds a mobile consumer application for improved festival experience for Scandinavian Outdoor Games.
Scandinavian Outdoor Games is a new outdoor sports festival which gathers thousands of consumers to experience a weekend of competitions & customer clinics. The event organizer had a need for a mobile application which could be used to enrich the customer experience of this popular event.
Sogeti built a mobile application including all the relevant festival information and messaging tools for the organizer to efficiently communicate with event guests. The solution is developed on the Xamarin platform and is available for both Android and iOS devices. Sogeti delivered the tool in cooperation with a marketing agency, Panama Communications.
The solution provided organizers an opportunity to reach efficiently to the visitors and offer a richer festival experience. All guests were able to easily keep up with the latest events as well as get notifications of the activities they had already signed up for. This resulted in an improved interaction between the organizers, partners and consumers.
Scandinavian Outdoor Games was founded in 2013 and is the largest outdoor sports festival in Scandinavia. It is organized by Visit Södra Dalarna AB together with Panama Communications which is responsible for concept and project management.
